About Newwer

NEWWER is an independent collection and publishing house dedicated to promote contemporary art.

One of our main goals is to position Latin-American photography internationally though the works of emerging and positioned artists. We do this by creating commissions, collective exhibitions, photobooks and other media to leverage the reach of our artists.

We hit the ground running with the project “Cuidad de las Montañas” by gathering 5 of the most influential photographers in México to create an exhibit and a photobook and collection. Since its opening in late 2015 we've been exhibited in Monterrey´s Centro de las Artes, in Mexico City at el Centro de la Imagen and during ParisPhoto in October 2016 and published 3 books.

Our latest project is FUTURO, which will make it’s opening in Unseen Art Fair in Amsterdam in September 2017 and plans to be present in different art fairs and exhibitions around the world.
